Education & Training

Education

Often participants require opportunities to re-learn some basic academic skills but aren’t interested in returning to formal studies in an educational institution. Yet without some essential tools such as functional literacy and numeracy, these participants struggle to secure and maintain employment. Acknowledging this, SBCS created a program for these adults to acquire the knowledge they need to be successful in the workplace.

Training

As a complement to the Employment programs, SBCS provides direct access to skills training in the Trades Helper and Food Services Training programs.
