Stella Burry Community Services

Inclusion Choir

A hugely popular "extra-curricular" activity for Employment program participants, the Inclusion Choir was established in 2008 which brought together participants and staff, motivated by nothing other than the desire to sing and make music together. Under the direction of a professional volunteer Choir Director, the group has developed a considerable repertoire of sings that all speak to the values espoused by the organization, including "Lean on Me", O’ Siem (We Are All Family) and "If I Had a Grant" which steals from the old Peter, Paul and Mary classic to describe how we, in the Stella Burry community might re-direct funds if they became available.

Inclusion Choir has performed extensively in the community at various functions in the non profit and housing communities. Participation requires nothing more that the desire to make music with others.  The group practices weekly and performs around the community as the opportunities present themselves.
