Just US Women's Centre
The Just Us Women’s Centre provides counseling and support to women who have been in conflict with the law. Services include the availability of therapeutic groups such as addictions, anti-shoplifting and empowerment as well as a peer support group. Individualized services include supportive counseling, court support, and assistance with securing housing, along with general advocacy. The Centre provides its programs both in the community and at the Newfoundland and Labrador Correctional Centre for Women in Clarenville. The services are provided by a full-time social worker and a peer support worker.
