ABE Level 1 Now Accepting Referrals
New Beginnings ABE, a program offered by the Education and Employment Division of Stella Burry Community Services, delivers the provincial Adult Basic Education Level 1 curriculum.
Our program provides a supportive environment and an opportunity for students to improve literacy and numeracy skills in preparation for entry into the workplace or continuing education. We support students both inside and outside the classroom to accommodate a wide variety of unique learning needs and personal challenges.
Intake and assessment are ongoing and we welcome referrals of students for the 2012 academic year. If you currently know or are working with someone who would benefit from increasing their literacy and/or numeracy skills, please contact us.
